What Is
INTENTIONS?
A Place Where Everyday Life Meets Magic
✦ ☾ ✦
“Intentions helps people bring meaning, comfort, creativity, and everyday magic into their lives.”
Intentions is more than a name, a shop, or a collection of beautiful books. It is an invitation to live with greater meaning, creativity, awareness, and wonder.
It was created from the belief that magic does not exist only in elaborate ceremonies or extraordinary moments. It can be found in the lives we are already living—in the lighting of a candle, the turning of a season, the writing of a hope, the ringing of a bell, the planting of an herb, or the quiet companionship of a beloved animal.
Intentions helps people recognize that everyday life can become more meaningful when we approach it with purpose.
The Meaning of Intention
An intention is more than a wish. It is a conscious decision about how we want to live, what we wish to nurture, and where we choose to place our energy.
We set intentions when we decide to begin again. We set them when we choose healing, creativity, courage, peace, abundance, or change. We set them when we pause before taking action and ask ourselves:
What am I inviting into my life?
What am I ready to release?
What kind of person do I wish to become?
Intentions does not promise that every wish will appear simply because it has been written or spoken. Instead, it encourages the reader to bring thought, emotion, ritual, and meaningful action together.
An intention becomes powerful when it changes the way we participate in our own lives.
Magic Made Personal
Intentions embraces magic as a deeply personal experience.
For some, magic may be spiritual. For others, it may be found in creativity, nature, symbolism, mindfulness, ancestral traditions, manifestation, folk practices, or the mysteries of the human imagination.
One person may light a candle and speak a spell. Another may write an affirmation, tend a garden, prepare a family recipe, meditate beneath the moon, or create art as an act of healing. Each person’s relationship with magic is their own.
Intentions honors many paths, including Wicca, witchcraft, Pagan traditions, folk practices, affirmations, manifestation, seasonal living, nature-based spirituality, and personal belief systems that may not fit neatly beneath a single name.
No one must follow one prescribed path to belong here.
Curiosity is welcome. Questions are welcome. Personal interpretation is welcome. The purpose is not to tell people what they must believe, but to offer beautiful tools through which they may explore what feels meaningful and true to them.
The Sacred Within the Ordinary
At the heart of Intentions is the belief that ordinary actions can become rituals when they are performed with awareness.
Making tea can become a moment of restoration.
Sweeping the floor can become an act of clearing stagnant energy.
Opening the curtains can become a greeting to the morning.
Writing in a journal can become a conversation with the inner self.
Taking a bath can become a ritual of release.
Cooking a meal can become an expression of love, gratitude, and nourishment.
These actions do not need to be complicated. Their meaning comes from the attention we give them.
Intentions encourages people to slow down, notice the moment, and discover the sacredness that may already exist within their daily lives.
What Intentions Creates
Intentions brings its magical world to life through thoughtfully designed books, planners, journals, coloring collections, ritual guides, articles, newsletters, and correspondence.
Each creation is designed to be both beautiful and useful.
A planner should do more than organize appointments. It can help someone follow the seasons, observe the moon, record dreams, form habits, and make space for reflection.
A coloring book can do more than provide pictures. It can offer a contemplative journey through folklore, nature, symbolism, and imagination.
A ritual guide can do more than list instructions. It can help someone understand why an action matters and how to adapt it safely and respectfully.
A newsletter or piece of snail mail can do more than deliver information. It can feel like a small enchanted gift arriving at exactly the right moment.
Whether a reader is holding an Intentions collector’s edition, printing a weekly guide at home, opening a seasonal planner, or receiving something through the post, the experience should feel like stepping through the same familiar doorway.
A Home for Creativity and Reflection
Intentions is also a creative space.
Coloring, journaling, decorating, planning, writing, and crafting are not treated as unimportant pastimes. They are recognized as ways of processing emotion, exploring identity, preserving memory, and reconnecting with wonder.
A blank page offers possibility.
A colored image becomes a personal expression.
A handwritten intention becomes a promise witnessed by the self.
Creativity allows us to make the invisible visible. It gives shape to feelings, hopes, memories, and dreams that may be difficult to express in ordinary conversation.
Intentions provides the doorway. The individual brings the magic that completes it.
Honoring Nature, Animals, and the Turning Year
The natural world is woven throughout the Intentions identity.
The moon, stars, herbs, trees, flowers, changing seasons, and animals remind us that life moves in cycles. There are times to begin, times to grow, times to harvest, times to rest, and times to release.
Animals hold a particularly tender place within Intentions. They may be companions, teachers, guardians, familiars, symbols, or beloved members of the family. The bond between a person and an animal can carry comfort, mystery, devotion, and profound love.
Intentions honors that relationship in life and in loss. It creates space for companionship, ethical care, remembrance, grief, memorial rites, and the understanding that love does not end simply because it must take a different form.
Beauty with Responsibility
Magic should never require someone to ignore safety, consent, compassion, or respect.
For that reason, Intentions encourages thoughtful practices. Rituals involving candles, smoke, herbs, animals, food, allergies, cultural traditions, mental well-being, or the natural environment should be approached with care.
Spiritual exploration should not replace appropriate medical, mental-health, legal, or financial support. Animals should never be placed in danger for the sake of a ritual. Cultural practices should be studied respectfully rather than treated as decorations to be borrowed without understanding.
Intentions believes wonder and responsibility belong together.
True magic does not ask us to cause harm. It asks us to become more aware of our relationship with ourselves, one another, animals, our communities, and the living world.
The Feeling of Intentions
Intentions is mystical, but welcoming.
It is atmospheric, but approachable.
It is rooted in folklore, yet open to personal discovery.
It can be solemn when honoring grief, playful when encouraging creativity, comforting during uncertainty, and celebratory when marking joy.
Its world is filled with candlelight, moonlit gardens, old keys, bells, botanical borders, enchanted forests, handwritten pages, watchful ravens, familiar cats, and symbols waiting to be understood.
Yet beneath all of that beauty is a simple emotional promise:
Intentions helps people bring meaning, comfort, creativity, and everyday magic into their lives.
Everything created beneath the Intentions name should carry some part of that promise.
An Invitation to Enter
Intentions is for the lifelong practitioner and the curious beginner.
It is for the person who has followed a spiritual path for many years and the person who has only just begun to wonder whether there might be more meaning hidden within ordinary things.
It is for journal keepers, artists, witches, dreamers, seasonal celebrants, animal lovers, folklore readers, collectors, and anyone who wants to live with greater purpose.
You do not need to know every tradition.
You do not need the perfect tools.
You do not need to perform complicated rituals or call yourself by any particular name.
You need only a willingness to pause, listen, imagine, and choose what you wish to nurture.
Intentions offers the candle, the page, the symbol, the story, and the invitation.
The meaning you discover within them belongs to you.
